As the director of a national network of foundations that work together to improve outcomes for vulnerable youth and young adults, Mainspring supports peer networking and sharing, helps to create key partnerships with leaders in the field, and provides strategic opportunities to leverage and extend the efforts of individual members.

 

STEM Next Million Girls Moonshot

Mainspring served as a strategic advisor and designer to launch the Million Girls Moonshot, a transformative nationwide movement to help close the gender gap in STEM by providing opportunities for 1 million girls to become innovators and inventors. Mainspring supports the coordination, facilitation and technical assistance of the Moonshot throughout the 50 State Afterschool Network.
